Towne Square Pet Resort Built In Owensboro (KY)

The residents of Owensboro (KY) have a new place to take their pets for a little pampering.
The Towne Square Pet Resort was built by Hagan Construction Co. The masonry contractor, L.A. Buford Masonry, used buff colored splitface concrete blocks for the base and accent courses and Charwood face brick for the veneer. The mortar was B10 from Brixment.
All of the masonry materials were supplied by the Owensboro location of Lee Brick and Block.

New Country Mart Under Construction In Taylorsville (KY)

Taylorsville, Kentucky will soon have a new Country Mart and we at Lee Brick and Block want to send our thanks out to the architect, Adkins and Associates Architects of Louisville (KY) and to the owners for designing and building with load-bearing masonry walls.
The General Contractor on this building project, EH Construction of Shepherdsville, is overseeing the installation of the integrally-colored concrete masonry units, named Macon, which are being supplied to the mason contractors, Coleman and Coleman Masonry, by Lee Brick and Block’s Louisviile (KY) location.
The Macon (integrally colored) units were manufactured as 8″ smooth stretchers, 8″ half-highs and 8″ splitface lightweight masonry units.

Mountain Stone And Columbus Brick Combo Looks Great Together

The house you see in the photo above was built by Dan Swigart/Fine Home Builders of Louisville (KY). Click on the photo for a full-screen view.
The brick is Charleston, from Columbus Brick Co. The stone is our Mountain Stone Limestone, a 3″ thick stone product. The blend is 80% Buff and 20% Limestone.
The mortar is C380 Cream by Brixment.
James Jewell of Hillside Hearth Shop, Mt. Washington (KY) laid the stone.

Want To Give Your Old House a New Look ?

This is the King house after Mountain Stone was applied.
The King family of metro Louisville (KY) took that challenge and showed us it can be done.
We’ve got before and after photos that show the dramatic difference that the addition of Mountain Stone can have on your home.
They used over 4000 SF of Mountain Stone products to accomplish this makeover.
The installer, Michael Gray of Stone Creations used a combination of 65% Handcraft, 30% Stackstone and 5% Large Handcraft.
The colors were 80% Sulphur Springs and 20% Grey and the mortar was K50 Buff from Richmortar.
They also used Limestone colored sills from Mountain Stone and plan to add a walkway made up of Mountain Stone Hearthstones.
The Mountain Stone products were supplied by Lee Brick and Block’s Louisville location.

American Founders Bank - Shelbyville, KY

Shelbyville, Kentucky recently saw the construction of a new branch of American Founders Bank.
The architect, William M. Welch Architects, of Louisviile and the General Contractor, Moore/Gabbard/Bridges of Lexington oversaw the masonry work done by EK Wills of Louisville.
Lee Brick and Block, from their locations in Louisville and Shelbyville, supplied the Old Virginia Colonial Full Range Wood Mould face brick and other masonry supplies. The mason contractor, EK Wills, also used Richcolor K-50 Buff mortar.
Valhalla Vista - Olde Towne By Hanson

Developed by ICON Properties, Valhalla Vista is turning into one of Louisville’s (KY) most desirable communities to call home.
The home pictured above has Olde Towne by Hanson as the veneer brick. The mortar combination included R-103 and E-220 from Brixment.
The Hanson face brick and the Brixment masonry cements were supplied by the Louisville location of Lee Brick and Block, along with a host of other masonry supplies.

ABS Services installed over 2500 SF of natural gray wall unts for a blast wall along the airstrip at Springfield AFB (OH).
