Independence Bank, Owensboro (KY), Uses Belden Brick’s Kingsport 8X

The newest location of Independence Bank, in Owensboro (KY) recently opened and immediately became one of the focal points of Frederica Street.
Cullignon & Nunley Architects, along with Rusher Construction Co . serving as general contractor and L.A. Buford Masonry, all of Owensboro, all did their jobs well on this project.
With beautiful detail work that was enabled by the craftsmen at Belden Brick firing these great watertable stretcher and corner brick that you see in the photos above and below, it’s no wonder that L.A. Buford Masonry was able to use the Belden Kingsport 8X to create a beautiful brick veneer.
The Owensboro location of Lee Brick and Block supplied the masonry materials for this project and wants to thank L.A. Buford, Cullignon & Nunley Architects and Rusher Construction Co . for their fine work and for allowing us to participate.

Fire Rock Fireplaces Available At Selected Home Depot Stores In Kentucky

The Breckenridge Lane Home Depot store in Louisville (KY) recently began showcasing a Fire Rock outdoor fireplace.
The Mountain Stone you see on the exterior of the fireplace unit is also available in that location.
Grey Southern Ledge was selected for this installation, which was done by Michael Gray of Stone Creations.
The fireplace is a 36″ Fire Rock Garden unit and we also installed 22′ X 22″ Windsor Grey Hearthstones from Mountain Stone Products.
Mountain Stone products are currently offered in selected regional Home Depot markets and are now adding the Fire Rock fireplace.
The fireplace unit you see pictured above is intended to be used outside and can be veneered with brick or stone.
You can also add firewood boxes, built-in grills and additional chimney height, along with a few other features.
Fire Rock specializes in a pre-engineered masonry fireplace system suitable for indoor or outdoor fireplaces.
Fire Rock products utilize volcanic pumice and calcium aluminates cements to form refractory components that reflect heat back into the home.
Fire Rock products install in a fraction of the time it used to take to build a fireplace.
The components are designed to ensure proper draw on every firebox.
The Fire Rock system is American made, patented, and tested to UL standards.

Arby’s Newest Location in Louisville (KY) Supplied by Lee Brick and Block

Louisville’s newest Arby’s store, located on Shelbyville Road, across from The Mall St. Matthews, was recently completed and is open for business.
The masonry contractor, Bohannon Masonry and the general contractor, Derek Engineering, both of Louisville, worked diligently to complete it before winter hit in Kentucky.
The masonry materials were supplied by Lee Brick and Block’s Louisville location, after a careful selection process by Ted Williams, Arby’s Director of Construction and Bill Moorman, President of RTM/Arby’s of Indianapolis (IN).
We at Lee Brick and Block are proud and honored to produce the concrete masonry units for Arby’s in the newest additions to our integrally-colored splitface masonry unit line, Arby’s Yellow and Arby’s Chocolate.
The units you see in the photo above are 4″ Splitface Arby’s Yellow, 4″ Arby’s Yellow Smooth Scored and 4″ 8-Split Flute Arby’s Chocolate.
