Bowling Green (KY) recently built a new Jr. High School and the project architect, Ross-Tarrant Architects of Lexington (KY), selected 2 different brick from Belden Brick as part of their exterior veneer.
Belden’s Sea Gray Velour and 671 Velour were chosen as the field and accent brick, along with a Chocolate splitface concrete block.
Here’s a close-up of the Belden Sea Gray Velour.

The masonry contractor, Whit-Cor Masonry of Murray (KY), enhanced the project with the great corner details like the ones you see in the photo below. The general contractor, Alliance Corporation of Glasgow (KY) made sure the project was completed on-time and that this school was ready to serve the students of this Warren County town.
The accent brick were inset and outset from the field brick and the Trenwyth groundface block with the 8″X8″ look were used to transition from the field brick into the large panel of accent brick.
This close-up shows the inset Belden 671 Velour accent brick in a soldier course, the Belden Sea Gray Velour field brick and the Chocolate splitface concrete blocks that were used on this project.
The local Lee Brick and Block office in Bowling Green (KY) supplied all of the masonry materials on this project and is proud to have been selected by Whit-Cor Masonry, Ross-Tarrant Architects and Belden Brick.
