<p>The brand new location of <strong>Monticello Banking Co</strong>., in Bowling Green (KY), recently completed their building project and <strong>Lee Brick and Block&#8217;s</strong> local office was honored to be chosen to supply the masonry materials.</p>
<p>The project architect, <strong>Dave Gottfried</strong> and the general contractor, <strong><a title="Stewart-Richey Construction Co." href="http://www.stewartrichey.com/" target="_blank">Stewart-Richey Construction Co</a></strong>. are both from Bowling Green, as is the mason contractor, <strong>West Side Masonry</strong>.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="/images/mountainstoneslatelimestone.jpg"><img class="aligncenter" src="/images/mountainstoneslatelimestone-small.jpg" alt="" hspace="10" vspace="10" width="380" /></a></p>
<p>This gorgeous stone veneer is our own <a title="Mountain Stone Products - Stone Veneer" href="http://www.mtstone.com" target="_blank"><strong>Mountain Stone Products </strong></a><strong>Slate</strong> in the <em>Three Inch Stone</em> series.</p>
<p><strong>Brixment&#8217;s</strong> <em>B-10</em> buff mortar was used throughout the project, in the stone, as well as in the exterior brick.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="/images/williamsburgtudorsbuildersspecials(2).jpg"><img class="aligncenter" src="/images/williamsburgtudorsbuildersspecials(2)-small.jpg" alt="Williamsburg Tudors Builders Specials(2)" hspace="10" width="380" height="338" /></a></p>
<p>The brick was Williamsburg Tudor from <strong><a title="Home of the Builders Special brick" href="http://www.siouxcitybrick.com" target="_blank">Sioux City Brick </a></strong>in the popular <a title="Builders Special brick from Sioux City Brick" href="http://www.siouxcitybrick.com/pages/BuildersSpecial.html" target="_blank">Builders Special size</a>. As you can see in this closeup, this brick offers you a tremendous amount of color, texture and character and makes a tremendous combination with the Brixment B-10 buff mortar.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="/images/williamsburgtudorsbuildersspecials.jpg"><img class="aligncenter" src="/images/williamsburgtudorsbuildersspecials-small.jpg" alt="Williamsburg Tudors Builders Specials" hspace="10" width="380" height="601" /></a></p>
<p>The Williamsburg Tudor&#8217;s also work great with the deep, rich colors the Mountain Stone provides in the <em>Three Inch Stone</em> series and especially in the Slate color range.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="/images/slatelimestonebymountainstone.jpg"><img class="aligncenter" src="/images/slatelimestonebymountainstone-small.jpg" alt="Slate Limestone by Mountain Stone" hspace="10" width="380" height="338" /></a></p>
<p>Even something as plain as the standard bag drop can be made to look appealing, when the attention to detail starts with a great design and ends with fine craftsmanship. Both ends of the spectrum did their jobs well here and it will be an eye-catching detail for years to come.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="/images/monticellobankingcompany(2).jpg"><img class="aligncenter" src="/images/monticellobankingcompany(2)-small.jpg" alt="Monticello Banking Company(2)" hspace="10" width="280" height="337" /></a></p>
<p>That same area, under the soft light of dusk and dawn, will make those stops at the bank a pleasant experience. That may well be the most appealing drive-thru ever built.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="/images/monticellobankingcompany.jpg"><img class="aligncenter" src="/images/monticellobankingcompany-small.jpg" alt="Monticello Banking Company" hspace="10" width="380" height="337" /></a></p>
<p>And lest we forget, that same soft light can be used to highlight a beautiful building material, like the Mountain Stone and create a visual that you&#8217;ll not soon forget.</p>
<p>Mountain Stone&#8217;s <em>Three Inch Stone</em> series is a popular and versatile building element that gives you the look of quarried limestone for a fraction of the cost.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="/images/monticellobankingcompany(3).jpg"><img class="aligncenter" src="/images/monticellobankingcompany(3)-small.jpg" alt="Monticello Banking Company(3)" hspace="10" vspace="10" width="380" height="337" /></a></p>
<p>And last but not least is the sign, usually the last thing built, but the first thing you see. This particular sign used the face brick and the stone in a dazzling combination that will serve Monticello Banking Co. well for many, many years.</p>
<p>If you&#8217;d like to learn more about Mountain Stone&#8217;s <em>Three Inch Stone</em> series, <a title="Mountain Stone Products - Three Inch Stone" href="http://www.mtstone.com" target="_blank">visit their website</a> or stop by any of <a title="Kentucky locations of Lee Brick and Block" href="http://www.leebrickandblock.com/locations.html" target="_blank">the state-wide locations </a>of <strong>Lee Brick and Block</strong> today.</p>
<p>One of our sales associates will be glad to help you pick out the perfect combination of brick, stone and mortar for your next building project.</p>

<p>Here&#8217;s some photos of <em>Cedar Creek Handcraft</em> from our very own line of <a title="Stone Veneer from Mountain Stone Products" href="http://www.mtstone.com/ourProducts/stone.php" target="_blank"><strong>Mountain Stone</strong></a>.</p>
<p>This log home is located in Lyon Co. (KY) and the entire lower level is veneered with <strong>Mountain Stone,</strong> which was supplied by our Hopkinsville location.</p>
<p>The mortar used was <strong>Brixment&#8217;s</strong> <em>B-13</em> and the wall cap you see above was also manufactured by <strong>Mountain Stone</strong>. We have <a title="Stone Accessories, wall caps, post caps, sills, jack arches, hearth stones" href="http://www.mtstone.com/ourProducts/ourAcc.php" target="_blank">a complete line of accessories</a> to compliment every color we manufacture.</p>

<p>It&#8217;s easy to see that <strong>Mountain Stone</strong> greatly enhanced this wooden structure and we&#8217;re sure we can find a way to make your next building project better as well.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><a href="/images/cedarcreekhandcraftbymountainstone(3).jpg"><img class="aligncenter" src="/images/cedarcreekhandcraftbymountainstone(3)-small.jpg" alt="Cedar Creek Handcraft by Mountain Stone(3)" hspace="10" vspace="10" width="450" height="337" /></a></p>
<p>This homeowner also used <em>Cedar Creek Handcraft</em> on the exterior of their kitchen&#8217;s island bar. <strong>Mountain Stone</strong> works as well inside as it does outside and if you use a glossy sealer, like in this instance, it becomes a bright, maintenance-free addition to the decor.</p>
