Clinical Education Complex at Western Kentucky University

Clinical Education Complex at WKU

On August 25th a dream became reality when Western Kentucky University’s Clinical Education Complex had it’s dedication ceremony.

The dream was to have a one-of-a-kind complex, housing multiple services, that were formerly spread across Bowling Green (KY).

Those services included :

  • Early Childhood Center
  • WKU Speech Clinic
  • Kelly Autism Program
  • Family Counseling Center
  • Traumatic Brain Injury Center
  • Family Resource Program

Barry Blann, of BA+ Architecture, in Bowling Green, served as architect of record for the project. He chose two tones of integrally-colored splitface concrete block for the veneer of the building.

Those blocks, Eggshell and Blush, were produced by the Bowling Green location of Lee Brick and Block.

Knight Masonry of Lewisburg (KY) was the Masonry Contractor employed by Scott, Murphy & Daniel, also of Bowling Green, who served as General Contractor for this project.

Contact your nearest Lee Brick and Block location for more information on integrally-colored concrete blocks and how they can enhance your next building project.
