That award was sponsored by Kentuckiana Masonry Institute, also headquartered in Louisville (KY).
It was the 40th rendition of HOMEARAMA in the Metro Louisville area.
The masonry materials used for this project were supplied by Lee Brick and Block’s Louisville location. Those materials included the Columbus Charleston face brick ( seen below ), Brixment E-220 mortar and Mountain Stone’s Southern Ledgestone Sulphur Springs.
There were also several 42″ Rockface Carmel Mountain Stone sills separating the stone wainscot and the brick, seen in the photo below, along with Carmel trim pieces and Keystones, also from Mountain Stone used to accent the arch over the front door. Pine Hall Cocoa 2 1/4″ pavers were used on the front porch.
The Mountain Stone was installed by Michael Gray of Stone Creations.
